Elton John: tear down the internet

Sir Reginald Dwight may have done the world and music the greatest service by pledging never again to sing ‘Candle in the Wind’, but his latest rant is just plain bizarre.

The singer believes the interweb is killing creativity, telling the U.K. Sun newspaper: “it would be an incredible experiment to shut down the whole internet for five years and see what sort of art is produced over that span… there’s too much technology available.”
