Adobe delays Media Player until 2008

BeetTV’s Andy Plesser has the splash on delays to the Adobe Media Player, which is unlikely to roll out for at least another six plus months, suggesting that the combination of DRM and downloads is causing even the most experienced minds to think twice.

Adobe tried to put a brave face on the news by also revealing that the Player will support the H.264 codec, to support playback of high-definition video.
